Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect critical infrastructure from cyber threats. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, a proactive approach to threat mitigation, and a commitment to staying updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implementation of various Automation Systems, Safety Systems, and Package system Networks and Interfaces.
- Execution of Cybersecurity and cybersecurity transformation projects, relevant Knowledge of cybersecurity solutions:
- Network/ Cybersecurity configuration : Switches, Firewall, WAF, IDS, etc
- Hardening related to solutions: CIS framework
- Proficient in both Hyper-V, VMWare and other virtualization deployment
- Cybsecurity solutions:
- Advanced Microsoft Windows Active Directory, RADIUS Implementation, etc
- Endpoint Protection Implementation (McAfee ePO, DLP, Application Control a plus)
- Detection solution: Log Management, SIEM, SOC
- Backup and Restore solutions such as Veritas, Acronis, etc.
- Patch Management including WSUS implementation
- Others: Ticketing Solutions etc.
- Proficient in preparation, review, and approval of engineering, and construction documents.
- Proficient in planning and scheduling CS-related activities.
- Ability to work independently and as an effective team member to meet schedule timelines.
- Strong Communication, Presentation skills with a proactive attitude.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or in a similar role.
- Have experience in configuring, deploying, and maintaining Active directory functions and security tools, such as firewalls, routers and switches, intrusion detection and prevention systems, patch management, and antivirus software.
- Confident, creative and curious about new / varied technologies
- Active certifications a plus (CISSP, IEC-62443 Expert, etc.)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Support the Project team in all tasks that are required to achieve the goals of the project ahead or as per schedule timelines.
