Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect critical infrastructure from cyber threats. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, a proactive approach to threat mitigation, and a commitment to staying updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and reactive maintenance for network and IT/OT infrastructure
- Develop/update maintenance and testing procedure documents for critical IT/server infrastructure at sites.
- Offer specialized guidance to network architects and contribute to the design and implementation of network security controls, upgrades, and configurations.
- Provide technical support to service operational managers and technicians on cyber security and integration-related inquiries and take ownership of project works at sites.
- Provide operational support for various cyber security tools, including ongoing tuning and enhancements.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to determine cause and impact.
- Implement and manage security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption solutions.
- Undertake routine patching and configuration tasks to ensure system security and integrity.
- Keep up-to-date with evolving cyber-attack tactics, techniques, and procedures, and incorporate continuous improvement to security tools and processes.
- Stay current with emerging cyber security threats and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Certificate Authentication, Group Policy, Active Directory, LDAP/s, KERBEROS, RADIUS, Process of Intendent Response, Cyber-related disconnection plans, Change Configuration Management, and Risk Management.
- Proficiency with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
- Familiarity with standards such as IEC62443, ISO9001, ISO27001, and NIST.
- Experience with risk assessment and vulnerability management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
